Walt Disney World
Since opening its gates in 1971, Walt Disney World has welcomed guests into a world of pure imagination, joy, and family fun. Inspired by the success of Disneyland, Walt’s Florida Project was built to be more than just a theme park. It was envisioned as a place where families could vacation together and experience stories brought to life in unforgettable ways.
In the beginning, the resort included Magic Kingdom Park and three hotels, with acres of land set aside for the future. Over the years, it has grown into a destination unlike any other, now home to four theme parks, two water parks, over 30 themed resorts, more than 200 dining options, golf courses, a sports complex, and a thriving shopping and entertainment district.
Though the resort has expanded and evolved, one thing remains unchanged:
Disney’s dedication to creating world-class entertainment and memories that last a lifetime.

The majority of the rides at Magic Kingdom are family friendly, meaning there is not a height requirement and the whole family can enjoy it. It is home to Disney classics such as Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan’s Flight, Jungle Cruise and many more. A first trip to Disney World is not complete without visiting Magic Kingdom.

It is known for its year round festivals and delicious food and drinks. It is also popular among children for its many characters and immersive attractions.
