Growing up, I was always into Disney! I loved all of the toys, movies, Disney store, ALL the things… but I never visited a Disney park until I was an adult. At the age of 33, after much planning and saving, I took my then 9-year-old daughter on a “once in a lifetime” trip to Disney World. Little did we know that this trip would hardly be a one-time thing! We felt the magic and were instantly hooked!
I am a single mom on a teacher’s salary. I knew that continuing to travel would take some work, so I started spending a lot of time budgeting, planning, and researching. I made it happen, and I have taken my daughter on many other trips since then! I became a travel agent because I want to share what I’ve learned with others and help them create memories with their family like I have created with my daughter. My main passion for Disney travel is helping others see that Disney IS attainable for any budget- even for a single mom on a teacher’s salary. 🙂
